Mención de honor en el concurso "Rethinking Notre Dame"

vestigium [ ve-stij-ee-uh m ] noun a mark, trace, or visible evidence of something that is no longer present or in existence. The aim of the project is to maintain the marks the fire left behind in Notre-Dame in Paris with the following conditions: 1. preserve the inner atmosphere of the cathedral by covering it with a brick cross vault joined with lime mortar in order to have a predominance of the rose window light. 2. rebuild the spire with new materials. It lets the rain and light pass inside, giving a new usage to the roof, made out of wooden trusses covered with zinc cladding, a material frequently used in Paris. 3. To avoid large queues, a new entrance is given by building a cloister next to the transept.
